Start of 2022 Production.

Well. I originally started this on RAMTRX forums a year ago. I ordered my TRX in August and became frustrated with the lack of information I could find online so started tracking the 2021 TRX’s for members there, been doing it every day since then. Had full intentions of stopping at the year model change as it seemed like a good time to call it. But, as the 2022’s started being ordered members kept sending me VINS. Here we are today expanded to all 1500 DT’s and both forums! I blame @Eighty for this. He convinced me to expand to 5THGen 😜
haha, you sound like my wife. Whatever it is that happens, it's my fault!

Really great work and the most useful resource we’ve got. Thank you.

Just checked my dealerships website and they have 22 listed 2022 1500's for sale, all in transit status. They're all either Big Horns or Laramie models. At least they're on the move now 👍

My dealer has 4 listed…….here’s two of the vin #:

1C6SRFBT9NN162624

I am currently tracking over 1000 dealers and have a total of 4591 trucks "in transit" and 735 that show to be on the lot already. So they are definitely getting out there.

A huge number of the dealerships only have 1 truck, but the largest I find currently shows 52 2022 trucks.

Rydell Chrysler

If anyone is looking to pick up a truck on the lot let me know and I can put together a list of options on all 5000+ trucks so you can filter it down to the trucks you are interested in.

My dealership, Hill Kelly has 7 showing as in transport. I was hoping mine would have been built at the same time. Disappointed for sure!

Now THAT could be the start of a business...forget the Ram Trucks site. Just have triple_B locate your dream truck at the dealerships (before they're even at the dealerships)!

Believe me, I thought of this very thing. A year ago when I was looking for my next truck, I started by searching for a Limited 1500 and the downside to the RamTrucks site was that it would only go 250 miles out from a given ZIP. Which can be frustrating if the distance is far less of a concern than finding the exact truck you want options wise. I randomly typed ZIP codes in for days trying to locate one for my dealer to transfer because even their search wasn't a Nationwide search. Some dealers they said they wouldnt/couldnt do stock transfers. That wouldn't have stopped me from just buying from another dealer at that point had I been able to find the truck I wanted. Thankfully I never found one because after about 2 weeks of searching I stopped by the dealership the morning the TRX order books opened and went that route instead, couldn't be happier.

Still waiting patiently. Miss my old truck now though. Gave it to my salesman 21 Aug. Third truck from this dealership/and salesman. Went from '13 2500 Laramie Mega Cab -> '17 3500 Dually Laramie Mega Cab and now waiting for my 2022 1500 Laramie Crew. But we've decided that if there isn't any word on our truck by mid month we'll cancel the order, take our money for the trade-in and go get me a restored truck in the 1945 -1955 range.

I too have checked dozens of zip codes due to that 250-mile limit. Finally found and bought my 2017 Rebel 1000 miles from home. That helped relieve any anxiety about ordering this one, also 1000 miles away. Woulda bought a 21 off the lot had I found what I wanted in stock.

Really appreciate both of your efforts and contributions with the tracking. 😊

I pulled another full scan of dealerships and there are almost 1000 more trucks hitting the lots from this mornings search! Surely RamTrucks will update their site soon if the intention is to wait until the trucks are actually sitting on lots before making the change.

so how many total window stickers have you found.
and how does that compare to the number of trucks you believe have been build, maybe this could be a weekly report.

Do you know what regions they are going to? I’m looking for OH/PA area. Thanks for all your updates. I’m not picky about colors so I’m not putting in an order and hoping a dealer gets a loaded Limited sooner than my specific color request would come in.

Tracking any dealerships in MI? Southfield CDJR by chance?

The totals are in the Tracker sheet and updated after every morning and evening post.
So still about 6000 trucks that have build sheets but no window stickers yet as of tonight.

Across the entire US, I currently see trucks going to about 1200 different dealerships.

Level 2 Limited, 5'7" or 6'6" bed, 4x2 or 4x4, Hemi, or Diesel?

For now here are the Limiteds in Ohio that show to be on the lot. VIN is link to window sticker.

PerformanceDelaware has 3 Limiteds, all Diesels.

I currently have 10 more across dealers in OH and PA that are all 5.7 Hemi that show to either be in transit. If you are interested in that list let me know, you may be able to reach out to the dealership and secure the truck before it arrives.

None to Southfield, but I do have it in my list to be checking.

I should point out that of the 6172 trucks that are headed to dealerships NONE of them are member trucks. That is not to say there isnt a member truck in transit, but rather, the dealerships dont typically list them on their sites since they are sold. I am comparing all the VINs I find against member VINS from both forums and not a single member truck has hit yet. What I am hoping to gather from this is a better handle on build sheet to delivery to the dealership though so I should be able to offer typical transit times across the country once enough trucks have been tracked.
