Start of 2022 Production.

@bigdodge AND ALL OTHERS

What would be everyone's preferred way to see the posts? I don't mind changing and doing whatever the group things is best.

I had actually thought about this a few times recently because I don't particularly like everyone having to dig through a thread that is approaching 400 pages long, but I don't see a better alternative either. A few suggestions to other options I had come up with, based on a change I was going to make at all forums.

On every daily update post I can place "BACK" and "FORWARD" links so that if you find Monday's post it would contain a link to Sundays and to Tuesdays. Does that improve things at all? It would actually require a lot of me updating previous posts in order to keep the links correct but if that makes things better for others that's fine with me.
are not the two forms run by the same people?

Just so that I understand… When is the Build Sheet produced? Is it before or after production?
Well, we dont exactly when it is produced, but it is available to the public the morning after the truck goes down the main assembly line. Internally it could be available before that point. So we use the BS as an indicator that the truck has been produced, after that truck goes out for accessories, emissions testing, final inspection etc.

The '2022 RAM 1500 TRACKING' thread is pretty close to what I was getting at, with the exception of any discussion taking place in the thread. Lock that one down for everyone but @triple_B and @Eighty to post their daily updates and leave the discussion to this thread.

The FAQ->Overall Data/Charts->Daily Update structure would help a lot of people find that information more quickly, and cut down on the same handful of questions that make up about half of this thread.

Sure it's fine, but if we're being asked for ways to improve, there are certainly options.

Sure, I agree completely but this is a public forum and not a website we control, we have no way of locking it down and would need an admin to set that up, that thread would just turn into hundreds of pages of random conversation like this thread did.

Can I just ask…on my POC I have an estimated ship date….would I be correct in assuming that is the date that Stellantis figures the vehicle will be ready to be shipped on a rail car? Of course it’s not set in stone

Are you saying random conversation is bad?!?!? 🤣

It is typically the day they expect it to be finished and sent to shipping. The factory considers that "shipped" because it has left the factory, but it may sit at the outbound rail depot for some time before getting on an available railcar.

Got it. Thank you very much.

Awesome!
Thanks 🙏

What Triple B and Eighty are doing for us is more than enough, in any format. You want to see your BS or WS again just remember the page it was on.
This.

I've always left them a Thank You right after they posted an update that pertains to my build. Acts as a book mark, so I can search my posts and easily find it... 😉

Unfortunately not, RAMTRX is out of Texas and from what I can find 5THGEN is based out of Canada

oh well
you never know unless you ask

I only asked to see if it could be done
and if it can not then ok

not a big deal for me as I have been able to find everything

just thinking about all the new posters

OK done

Yep.
Would be helpful if you were a mod and could delete any discussion posts there, and leave all discussion to this thread.
Like I said, you'd need to be a mod. Or, at least have buy in from the site admins. I don't have a clue what backend management looks like for the forum, but I'd think there's a way to whitelist yourself and Eighty to be the only ones able to create new posts.

Perfect world, and all that...
