Was expecting a BS this morning since ESD was 12/18 the last time I checked.

Checked with RamChat this morning and was told the truck is in "trim" stage....I asked exactly what is "trim" stage and was told:

Rebecca
The time it just means the trime of the vehicle it could be the outside or inside of the vehicle.

LOL!! can anyone decipher this response or give me more insight as to what "trim" stage is?

Just got a WS from the first Ram I ordered November 8, 2021. Got off RAM CHAT and was told it was in the shipping stage.

Ordered 11-8-2021
Built 12-18-2021
Shipping 12-20-201 with WS

Total about ~42 days to this stage.

Just that this truck I am not purchasing.

Think of like window trim. My assumption is this is things like maybe mirrors, badges, door panels, seats. All the little parts that go on. But then that is just a guess

Well there are really only 3 stages - Frame, paint and trim. So it's basically everything other than the main body, all the pieces inside the vehicle or non painted outside pieces.

@GeorgiaBoy The trim stage is where essentially everything is put in the vehicle. Motor, dash, console, etc, the chassis is mated to the body, bed is attached. Basically all that's been done before this stage is the frame and body are painted. This stage puts it all together. That's how it was explained to me at least. I could be wrong!

Looks like it did indeed start the build on 12/18. Currently in G status which is trim. Putting on wheels flares and other trim accessories. All good stuff and should be complete with build by the end of the week I would hope!!

Nothing like a Christmas eve build!
