Start of 2022 Production.

it has always been a rumor that one should never get a vehicle built on a monday or a friday because on monday they are hung over from a weekend of partying and friday they are tired and do not pay attention

with this plant on critical status since sept 25 (ending on Dec 25) meaning no days off for 90 days, any day can be a bad day

as far a christmas it is because they are looking for the time off and are not paying attention

but it is all a rumor
Especially being that they are on critical plant status which is mandatory 7 days.

Just received a detail POC from my dealer I was asking for. My order has everything that was ordered including the protection group they quit putting on Limiteds and trailer tire pressure monitoring in trailer tow group. 🤞🏼 cross the ship date 12-15 is accurate.

Yeah I’ve got the safety items now included in the Limited 1 group listed on my POC from last week as well. That’s a good sign. Dealer couldn’t tell me if it would or wouldn’t be included until I asked for my POC.

RAM Chat today:
Your order has been scheduled. This means all the parts have been received and it will begin the build in the next few weeks.

Here's one for ya, Yesterday I tried a little experiment. I called the 866-726-4636 # got a very nice guy who ask me several questions and was able to pull my build up on his computer. He told me my build was gateline and explained what that meant further stated that it should be built this week and had an ESD of January 2,2022. I asked him to re confirm that info which he did. I thanked him and hung up. I then contacted Ram chat via text and was given the canned answer, describing D status, I asked if that was "gateline" was told no in was in the scheduling phase of production waiting on parts. I thank her and ended the chat . I then called Ram care @ 866-932-3878 and a very nice lady named Martha told me my build was in KZ status. After i asked a few questions she said she was experiencing screen troubles and would check it out and return a call to me today. Im waiting for that call though I doubt it will come in. Sooo 3 different inquiries and 3 different answers or I should say 2 1/2 answers. I guess it really doesn't matter as I have a great 2019 loaded Limited that I am very happy driving.
i just did the same thing, ram chat and both phone calls gave me the same information.in build process, working on trim
allow 7-9 weeks.

I know back in the 80's and 90's drinking and drugs were a big problem in some American car plants. Workers were known to get a "Liquid" lunch before returning to the assembly line. Don't believe it's like that now. It all depends on the front line supervisors in the plant and weather they give a crap or not. Still, I wouldn't want my truck to be among the last ones produced right before shutting down before the Christmas holiday. Worker's minds might be somewhere else and may be just concentrating on getting the hell out of there.

Asked RAM chat is he knew any good Ford dealers. His "no" response was the only concrete thing gained from that encounter. Didn't even offer to "elevate" me. **** RAM.
Most of those call takers are contractors that could care less about the RAM brand.

Is BSM (blind spot monitoring) not on your truck? I have longhorn ordered since July and was wondering.
thanks

I figure it's some college kid making money sitting in class. My guess would be RAM tracks the VINs or names that contacts it, and that's about it.

Personally, I think Ram is resting on it's laurels. The 5th gen is the most awarded truck for the 4th year. They might have the mindset that if you cancel your order, someone else will buy the truck.

I was told by the dealer it is now included on all Limited models. I did search inventories of several different dealers with ‘22 Limited’s on the lot and regardless of packages they all show Blind Spot Monitoring. I don’t know about other Trim levels

I hope you are right, but why is it not listed on your POC?

This reminds me of when Studebaker started taking orders for the 1963 Avanti. That car got alot of interest and attention when it was first unvailed. But Studebaker had production issues with it's fiberglass bodies and orders were backed up for months. The thousands of people who waited months for their vehicles got frustrated and started canceling their orders Two years later, they stopped producing vehicles in in the US and three years later, they were out of business. Considering the 5th Generation Ram is thier cash cow, Stellantis should concentrate on not angering thier customers and cause them to cancel thier orders. Because eventually, it can come back to bite them, just like Studebaker.

Same reason the individual airbags, ABS, and most of them items that are on that list I posted aren’t included on your POC? What is that reason? Ram being lazy? A more detailed list of every part on the truck is not available to the serfs? I don’t know. Re-read the list I posted and it seems to be all standard stuff now. When bought my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Turbo Diesel BSM was a standard safety feature. But really, I don’t have an answer for you. Only Conjecture.

Just did a search of all my build sheets. 9,331 Limiteds total, and 9,331 Limiteds with Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection.

Bam…. There you have it. The Oracle has spoken!

Can someone decipher this one for me? Or is it basically just, go away we don’t have an update? FB216960-A25E-482D-A0F6-26F8C961290E.jpeg
