My dealer can't see the rail car number on their system. That is the information they are able to see.

If anyone has any idea what all that means it would be useful.

Honestly I harass ram chat everyday. I do it so much I don’t even have to type. I do what they do to me. I just copy and paste my own candidate replies and every other day I get an email saying how much they appreciate my business. But!! They do know I ordered three different trucks and I expect to take delivery on all three at the same time I told them. Even though they are all in different parts of the country. And if one wasn’t there when it was time to pick them up. I wasn’t buying any of them. Which is obviously a lie but I have to use whatever little leverage I have

Damn, nice to see actual pictures of one in my color though. But sad the one they have didn't get send to me instead lol.

Lol looks like we ordered days apart. I will say the lack of premium lighting on the ones at that dealer makes me even more glad I ordered it. Those halogen lights look like crap imo

Premium lighting is one of the things I'm most excited for. Also I haven't seen any with sunroofs, although the only samples I have from dealers are that site with 5 so a very small sample size. The seats look excellent also, which is a relief coming from leather in my last 2 vehicles.

Well….. had the rig for a few days. All I can say is…. Worth the wait. A few minor fit and finish issues but overall it feels and looks like a quality build (except my Tonneau cover was installed backwards ). A few folks asked some questions related to the UConnect 5, seems to work well and it’s very responsive and extremely customizable. It’ll be awhile before I’m able to figure out everything and I’m kind of a nerd..

also, most apps related to wireless CarPlay are full screen (maps, Waze, google maps, see photos)

For the folks who were worried about the 10th anniversary interior and the funky ‘cloth’. I’m pretty sure it’s the same material in the middle of the limited door panels where the stitching is (just a different color) and it’s not too bad. Although I can’t attest to it covering everything….

The HUD and camera mirror are both very cool but the mirror gets a little irritating after awhile and the glare from the sunroof makes it hard to see sometimes. The HUD is good information but I figured out you can’t see it with polarized sunglasses on.

lastly, the night edition stuff is really nice. Ram did a good job darkening everything that was chrome before on the interior. Everything that was shiny on my 2019 Limited is now a ‘black chrome’. I really like it…. Except the chrome lug nuts…, common’ Ram you can afford black. And speaking of black, the black grill and mirrors have a little silver flake in it so it’s more of a black metallic then true gloss black. It fits the granite well…..

And maybe it’s time to start a 22’ rigs only thread and pics of the specific differences…. So I don’t hog this thread.

I emailed Sandi at MD today asking about replacing the manual fold mirrors because they changed my order to Rebel Level B option package. She said she was going to get back to me after contacting Stellantis as they are "not allowed to change sold orders." We'll see what comes of this (probably nothing). I figured it's worth a try to put a bit of a stink about it, and she has been helpful through the process so far.

thank you for the info. What about the wireless Android Auto? Is it also mostly full screen?

I saw on youtube about the Uconnect 5 of the 2500 series that you can have the left and right mirror camera next to each other on the screen, is it also with the 1500?

I have an iPhone so I can only confirm that. I would assume the android is the same but since that’s an inferior product, who knows ?!

I know you meant that since the iPhone is an inferior product and it displays in full screen that the far superior Android should so the same. LOL

That said, since it would make sense, especially since the software is Android based, Android Auto probably will not display full screen.

That feature makes me regret not getting the Level 1 package. I didn't know it did that before I ordered.

I actually like the 10th anniversary edition interior!. But I like the brown and black limited longhorn interior the best.

exactly. I have it on my 2021. But I will say my 2017 with aftermarket led bulbs are way better!

I live in the west and have rancher/cowboy friends and dress it up for country festivals etc.....but even that is too yeehaw for this yahoo
