So two weeks ago my order was in a holding pattern due to similar issues @Eighty had (12A package being dropped, etc). My dealer said it was all squared away and should be in rotation (whatever the hell that means). Mind you I was still in D status. I checked in today and the dealer claims "Production status literally being built as we speak". Of course my question back was "it went from D to JB?" They said the status has not officially moved, but it is no longer scheduled for production, it is in production.

Not sure what to think and firmly believe they're lying to me to in order for me to stop bugging them. I checked with Ram Chat and they show it still in D status.

So the wait continuous.

did the railroad damage the vehicles or were they damaged on the train car (autorack)?
because if they were still in possession of the railroad, railroad insurance demands everything be destroyed.

They didn’t specify, but it has taken since Oct 13 to get released from the rail yard. That’s when it was unloaded.

It’s not just Ram killing the timeline getting the truck to me, seems like everything these days is brutal lol

why is the dealer installing the trailer brake controller and not the factory?

The truck was a dealership order that was placed in June 2021. And was already in D1 status when I purchased it, in the beginning of august.
so I had that stuff added in as part of the deal.
Oh and they need to instal the bolts type S cat back exhaust that is going on before it leaves their lot

SAME, theyre building all around us, I cant complain, I ordered 8/7 lol, cant imagine what most of you are going through. frustrating for sure. my 2012 Lancer is on her last legs so, need a Truck sooner than later.

Cant really base much on the VERY SMALL subset of trucks that are members. Currently 315 members out of the 110K trucks ordered. or 1/4th of 1% of the total.

If it makes you feel any better they aren't skipping Canadian trucks, there have been 3345 Canadian trucks built in the last two weeks.

I ordered on 07/30, D status 8/3, build sheet 9/17, window sticker 10/27. Apparently the delay was due to some flash update?

Has Anyone Tried calling Ground Effects directly? the only accessory I ordered were the power steps, and my truck has been sitting in JB for a full week. i realize this isnt as bad as 40 days but as someone who has to book a 5 day trip to pick this truck up at some point. this is a huge problem, I am required at my job the first and last week of every month for financial processes, and we are quickly running out of weeks left that aren't travel nightmares.

Well at this point there is not much we can do but sit and wait. My dealer web site shows 6 2022's listed as in transit. I have not checked other dealer's sites to see if they have trucks in transit. Hopefully they are just holding our trucks until they can fill a rail car to send this way.
