Squeaky Brake Pedal = Install new assembly: Anyone?

2021 RAM 1500 DT Big Horn - Brake pedal squeaks more than a mouse. Got down under there and realized one of the moving parts, a pivot with a plastic collar, has cracked. I spray silicone lube on it and it resolves it for a time but only for.

I bought a brand new pedal assembly. Has anyone installed one of these before? Any tips or gotchas?

Yep I have the squeak and so far the last lube I used is still holding up.

My brake pedal has been squeeking for a while and it's driving me nuts. I sprayed some of this on all the pivot points I could just now. I'll let it creep in and see if it helps. Has anyone else had this happen and know what part needed some lube?

Ok thanks for the reply! I guess i better get into it and replace it. Before I do, I may upgrade the assembly with brass bushings or some such to prevent it from happening again
