Hey guys. Picked up my truck about a week ago. I’ve searched to see if anyone else has issues with how the plastic vents fit. Is this normal? Drives me crazy. 701E3DCC-8F8E-4736-91B5-9620A1562FF3.jpeg

Mine fits like that too. Wait till you wash it. Just hold a stream of water on all the edges of the vents at different angles and debris never stops flowing out of em. Bugs, leaves, pine needles, dirt. It seems neverending.

I had the left one look like that and the right one was flush. Dealer replaced it and now both sit slush. Drove me crazy until replaced.

any pics of this? Mine do not sit flush

Mine sat flush on my ‘21 and don’t on my ‘22. I would have to pull my tuner off to take it into the dealer, so I’ll probably just buy another driver’s side insert at some point.

Never seen that, mine fit flush. If you pop the insulation off under the hood, is there a clip not seated?

Mine are pretty flush as well but i could certainly see where it could become an issue...

Driver’s side on my previous truck stuck up like that. I just bought a new one and replaced it myself. Seems like it was about $40 shipped at the time. It fit much better So it was worth it for me. I don’t have that issue on my current truck.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll see if the dealer will order a new set before I purchase myself. I have not pulled the insulation to see if a clip is not seated.

My side vents fit pretty flush, but that rear one in the middle doesn't, I can see it crooked behind the windshield when I'm driving.

Oh that would bug the crap out of me!

Yup, I put out a thread about it when I got my truck almost 3 years ago, I felt better knowing it was common. The plastic in the back is slightly warped, so it doesn't fit flush with the surface of the hood, it's not something shocking, but if you look for it, you will find it.

Here it is if you want to see what I mean: Hood vent fit? Is this normal?
