Has anyone had an issue with their speedometer and tachometer needles twitching while driving. Once you see it you can’t unsee it. Drives me nuts. The movement isn’t crazy but more of a twitch. What was the cause and fix? 2025 RAM Bighorn 6 cylinder

Yes. Mine does it. I keep the digital display on MPH now, so I don’t have to look at it anymore.

Researching this, this does not appear to be a new phenomenon. I found examples going back years.

The dealer says it’s normal. They all do that. I find that hard to believe. The speedometer and tachometer should not twitch!

I called RAM customer care and was told this is NOT normal. Told me to take it to another dealer for a second opinion. The possible causes she gave me were in line with responses from chat gpt. Hopefully the next dealer will be on point!

Let me know what you find out. If you get anywhere, maybe I’ll try to get mine fixed. I will say it does not appear to be super uncommon, that doesn’t mean it should be considered ok or “normal”.

Hi there, should either of you choose to revisit the dealership please send our team a private message so we can offer an extra layer of support.

My new 2026 with less than 1000 miles does it as well. My 2021 gauges were rock solid.
