Has any on had any issues with the SOS or Assist buttons not working on a 2019 RAM Limited? When i push either button it comes up on the screen like it works shows a call time as it would if it was connected but with no audio.

Yes, dealer told me to use it to ask a question about U-connect and the Sirius Guardian. When I hit it the font gets kinda big and it does nothing but give me the four little dots that change color on the screen indicating it is thinking about doing something, then it times out and gives an error message.

Hey New2Ram & Lettika,

I'm sorry to hear this is happening with your Rams! I'd recommend scheduling service at your dealer to diagnose this concern with the SOS/ASSIST buttons. If you need any further assistance with this, please DM us.

I hit the Assist button the day I picked mine up. They indicated that I was showing I was in the Atlantic Ocean. I'm pretty close to it but not in it. I was referred to the Uconnect help line. They helped to get initial sign up completed and then asked that I go back in the truck and hit the SOS button. That'll be the last time I do that. It initially connected and went dead but I was unable to disconnect the call. It says the operator has to do that. I made a call to Uconnect, no help. They transferred me to the Ram help line. Also no help. I ended up just locking up the truck with the 12" screen lit up, still "connected" to nothing. When I got up the next morning the system had disconnected send everything was working. Well almost, I didn't try using the Assist or SOS which I never will, at this point.

I didn't have any luck with the dealer, but my truck did a software update yesterday and now it all works as it should.

Good deal, I'm going to try the over the air update and see what happens. Just hope I don't go backwards.

Sorry to hear about this! Have you had your radio unit replaced previously? Feel free to send us a PM with your VIN and additional details on your concerns. We'd be happy to look into this for you.

I used to Uber a few years back. I live near the water and there was a pickup request close to my house, except it was about 1000ft out in the middle of the bay.

I said F*k it, I'll drive that way and see what's up. At the very least, I'll collect $5 for a no-show. Problem was, I couldn't drive close enough to click 'I have arrived.' I ended up calling customer service, telling them that the pickup location is in the ocean, and they gave me $5 for my trouble.
