Soaking wet cabin filter

Check the firewall and look for the ac drain tube. I’ll bet it is plugged. Try cleaning it out especially if you can do it after a heavy rain. If you can clean any debris out the water still trapped in there will help flush out any other crap that’s in there. Good luck.

Who's this in reply to? Already found the problem and wrote up a fix walkthrough in this thread

prob to anyone looking for help

Thank you for this. Had the exact same thing with my 3 month old 2024 yesterday/today. Took it to the dealer- no air flow but fan running and all doors and recirc audiaubly functioning. In the mean time, it apparantly dried because they couldn't recreate the issue. I asked about the cabin filter (actually how to get the newer glove box off without breaking it) and he showed me and we pulled the filter for the heck of it... pink and blue stains from the car wash.

We kicked the tires a bit and decided to pull the cowl. No debris in mine at all, but that silly aluminum tape they cover the big hole above the filter area was wrinkled. We pulled it half back, heated it so it was tacky again, and reapplied for the mean time.

Just a poor design.

Yep, always turn the fans off during a car wash 😜
