Same thing they did with me, the specialist with have a tool that supposedly will measure the frequency of the vibration in your vehicle. And it will come up within spec or they will say could not duplicate or they will blame the tires. The thing to do would be to request a loaner vehicle and for them to keep it until it is fixed and leave it. One of my states requirements was for the vehicle to be out of service for at least 30 days consecutively. And it sat on their lot for 32 days. One more thing note the mileage, when I picked my truck up they said they had driven for 30 miles without sensing the vibration..and thats when I pointed out that my odometer had only moved 1/10 of a mile since it was dropped off 32 days prior...and just out of coincidence that was the exact distance across the road to kroger and back.
Good luck..im dumping my 63 grand wagon in a few weeks.

Did you have unusual tire wear too? Think even after the rack and pinion was replaced, I still have front end issues too. The front tires are getting chewed up almost pulled apart at the tread on the outer 1” of the tire. With only 7700 miles, something definitely not right!

I did but not as bad as yours..i didn't give it enough time to have a lot of wear.
I'm on my 4th set of tires and 2cnd set of wheels with only 9000.00 miles .

Well, RAM's have COIL SPRINGS, not LEAF SPRINGS....

"After all this (Road Force balance, new one piece driveshaft), I begin to discern that the remaining vibrations may be leaf spring related, since the spring count had not increased from my previous DRW. It could be that the springs are not reacting properly... I noticed that when empty (or loaded with camper) going over asphalt to concrete transitions or cross road pavement cracks, that beyond the initial shock wave, there was a secondary and a tertiary shock wave within a few milliseconds which amplified the shock remained very unnerving... This was not in any way present on my previous truck! So I called a spring shop and was told that this was called reverberation and was due to the springs not being progressive, that the springs were calabrated the same whether I was carrying a pillowcase or a ton of weight...

So I had them recalibrate the springs (my expense) to make them more progressive (de-arched the 3 in the main pack and the lower short thick overload) and restore capacity by adding one additional leaf within the main pack... This was their plan to make the springs more progressive...

This final item has pretty much resolved just about any vibrations, and now when going over a transition the initial shock wave is ALL that is felt - rapid reverberations now gone! Sympathetic telegraphing into the cab via the driveshaft (and even worse with the OEM shaft) no more - Now the truck is a keeper and drives very much like my previous truck, again a joy to drive."

I'd love to hear from anyone here on this.

My last 3 Silverado’s had fewer problems over 13 year the this has had in 6 months. I love the truck, just hate problems they can’t fix or say nothing’s wrong.

One did, but 2 trips to the dealer and it never did it again. Tried balance first that didn’t work, put on 4 new tires and alignment, that fixed it!

Hope you have better luck with this! How’s the performance compared to the ram. I do love the 5.7 with the 3:92 gears! It’s like driving a sports car!

Performance is not the Ram. I do miss the Hemi, but everything else is better. The vibration drove me crazy and the Yukon is smooth with the independent rear. The Rams cylinder deactivation sucks too. I could hear and feel it start/stop every time. The GMC you can't even tell when its active. However, I do miss my 19 speaker Harmon Kardon stereo!
