I was wondering if anyone else had this happening whenever I start to roll forward the sliding console drawer beneath the radio ends up sliding open. I didn't know if there was an easy adjustment or if there was supposed to be a "latch" that temporarily held it shut until you were intentionally opening the drawer. I figured next time i was at the dealership I'd mention it but didn't know if others had seen the same behavior.

Thanks
Jay

There is a button you push to open it so i would say that its not latching properly

Thanks for the info next time I'm at the dealers I'll mention it to see about getting it fixed. I need to take the challenger in towards the end of the month (April) for the airbag recall anyways.

Thanks
Jay

Mine doesn’t slide out freely. It could have been designed better.

The same thing was happening to me... Latch release button for the sliding console storage drawer is located just above the drawer. If you close the drawer with a little force, it should latch. Then push the button to pop drawer open again.

Has anyone found anything useful to do with this drawer? It does have a slot for a cable so difficult to put anything electronic in it and the coin holder is useless.
