I'm looking into getting a ram rebel 1500 but was curious which event tends to offer the best incentives? I know right now they are having the employee discounts but I've heard from others to wait for ram truck month which is usually in Febuary and will have the best incentives for the year. I wasn't looking at the ram last "ram truck" month but were the deals truly worth while to wait for? I currently own an older ram so I am not under any time constraint or anything to buy now so if its worth waiting a couple months for a better deal I will.

Best deal I saw so far was Labor Day sale. But I highly doubt you’re willing to wait until the end of summer. Got $14,000 off a larimie crew cab 4x4. Some people got qualified for $15,000-$16,000 off

My wife negotiates my deals. She's more vicious than me, because I'm the one drooling over the new car... she keeps a stern face because she truly doesn't want me to get the car lol. Same when we are getting her a car. I negotiate.

I walked out over $1000 and the dealer called me on my cell as soon as I started my car to leave. He accepted my last offer before I walked out...But to the OP's original question, I think the best deals this year were in June. I started looking in July and spent the next 5 months waiting for June prices to come back. Finally, I decided to just find the car I want, negotiate the best price I can, and buy it. I'm loving my truck.

Gotta look through the other various posts on deals...but if they are not broken down as a % to MRSP and telling you what year the truck build is, you are comparing apples and oranges. $14k off on a $60k truck, is better than $14k off a $70k truck, etc. 2019 model pricing, vs. 2020, etc.

I believe that end of the month, quarter, or end of the year, are better times to negotiate a deal as the sales folks are all trying to make a number. However, in Ram's case, they could run out of, "dealer coupons" later in the month and can't stack all the incentives for you. So...do your homework now, find the "best" deal you can and either pull the pin, or wait. My bet is that each month, Ram is working as hard as they can for your sale, just depends on your level of pucker factor...

While watching Sunday night football, Ram advertised 21% of MSRP. Looks like now is the time. That’s the same deal I got this exact same week last year.

Probably one of the best offers was FCA's 20% off MSRP in June 2019 and it included 2019 models. Couple that with a high volume Ram dealer and 30% off MSRP was in reach. The trick is being patient enough for sales to slow down. Fortunately FCA wants a larger share of the market and isn't afraid to use heavy discounts.

Msrp on mine was 56980. I negotiated down to 12,500 off of the msrp. This was 3 days ago on a 2020. Had to go about an hour away to pick it up and they drive 8 hours round trip to get it. Just had to make a 500 deposit. I even tried to get my local dealer to match the deal. Said they couldn’t. 2 days later local dealer said they would. I said to late already picked one up that you said you couldn’t price match. I gave you your shot. Don’t let your emotions get to you. I walked out 3 times at different dealers. Ended up with the best deal at a dealership I have never set foot on. Deal was made through text and avoided all negotiations at the dealership. Even the interest rate. Don’t let them pull that one on you.

I got about 15000 off msrp was 62,440. Just 3 weeks ago on a Laramie sport 19. However they don’t come down as much on the rebels. Good luck!

I bought my Bighorn 4wd Crew cab North edition level 2, towing package, hemi, couple other options for 36750 on 1/12 of this year. MSRP was $50k. That included an extra grand off from my best price because I am a USAA member and $250 back from Allstate. That's about $13k off MSRP. This was with all offers but not using their financing. I'm in a popular truck area (Southern Appalachian mountains) so it was a great deal for my area. I think I could have done a little better if I had bought when I was in Florida on vacation but it was not easy to find the cold weather stuff I needed up here in the mountains.

I want around 21-25% off MSRP (fully loaded $70k Limited) with 0% 60 month financing. When that deal appears, I'll bite.
