Shift knob question

After 4 years in my 2019 anytime I get in a vehicle with a shifter in the center console all I see is wasted space

I dislike the wasted space and would prefer one on the column like Chevy does. Or like they were forever until some engineer decided to get cute. Sorry for complaining. Just my 2 cents. Been out a a ram truck for 12 years now back when it was Dodge Ram, loving every moment in this one.

I like the shift knob in my Laramie, especially with the AJT billet knob. That said, I decided to do the TRX shifter conversion. It was actually pretty easy and no tools are required.

If you want “high class” your driving the wrong vehicle.

A Ram 1500 Limited isn't "high class"?
It's a luxury vehicle in the style of a pickup chassis.

A Ram 1500 Limited isn't "high class"?
It's a luxury vehicle in the style of a pickup chassis.

When I think “high class” I think Rolls-Royce. No Ram made even comes close.

Don’t get me wrong Limited’s are by far the nicest pickup truck made but not even close to comparing to a high class vehicle. Just my opinion of course.

A shifter knob doesn't feel "high class"

You do realize, no high end car has a shifter any more. They are all knobs or push button switches.

I personally like the extra center console space afforded by the lack of a shift stick.
