Service axle locker

I have the same issue here. Is Zlocker or any other brand sell a bypass for RAMs? anybody know the dealership sells the exact sensor?

I went to Utah a few weeks back to do the Toquerville Falls trail and on the way out I got a message on the cluster saying "service axle locker system" that goes on from time to time. Usually it happens while coming to a stop but on occasions it does happen at other random times. I took the truck to the dealer and they replaced the transfer case module along with the wiring harness that plugs into the rear axle. It took about 6 weeks for parts to come in so I was happy when they called me to notify that it was fixed. Later on that day while I was driving I got the same message again. Has anyone else on here experienced this problem. I haven't been able to offroad for a few weeks and I'm going crazy lol

I faced the same issue with my Ram as well. After doing some research, I found out that it could be related to the Tazer DT device. If the Axle Locker options are tampered with, it may cause problems with the AWD computer.

Mine has been doing the same thing. It's the weirdest thing, the warning will come on and then go off, then come back on and go off. Sometimes it will stay on till i shut the truck off. Then it will go off and not come back on for 6 months or a year. I've check the connector on the rear dif and it seems good although i did find the harness clip broken. The locker works fine when it's off. I did see a post on here that they found a small break in the harness wire. I just figure i'll dig into it when it does it more often.

Is that wise or do you just have no need for the locker? Cuz, if ya need it and it ain't there...

No, I have never needed it. I don't do anything to ever really need it but hate the warning coming on. What i hate more is that it is so random that I can't ever keep it on long enough to diagnose it. I've messed with the harness the best I can without removing it and it won't come on sitting. It's usually while i'm driving, the warning will pop up and usually it will go off a minute or two later, sometimes it stays on till I shut the truck off. Last time it happened, it came on and I pulled into a parking lot to check the plug/harness and as soon as I slowed to a stop it went off.. go figure.
