Screen Black but sound works

I just installed an 8.4 Uconnect Screen in my 2019 1500 and I noticed that when I turn the truck on the screen stays black but the audio works and the screen still responds to touch. I have looked everywhere for answers and tried everything. I have reinstalled the system, unplugged the battery, changed the fuse. Everytime I do one of those things to reset it, the screen works perfectly until I turn the truck off and let it sit for about an hour. Anyone know of any fixes?

The initial start up will allow the screen to work. After that or a sleep cycle the BCM doesn't know how to turn on the screen any more. You need to make some changes to the BCM's programming to let it know the screen and radio module are separated. This answer is all over the forums of what you need to change. This is all assuming you got like the UAV or UBL.
