Run Fan Without Activating Climate Control

The new controller is more aggressive at cabin temps and I suspect you don't have the newest controller (A/C And Heater Module - Mopar (68493386AC)) Its changed 3 times
Apparently, this part is up to AE. That is 5 changes!!!! So if I can find an older version, AA , AB, AC, AD, which do I want to be able to use my fan without turning on the Comfort settings and disabling my start/stop?

No won't work like you think it should.

What is desired low or high temp in the hvac system?

How is @vincentw56 description not how it works now? What he said has nothing to do with what I said about max hi/low temp settings.

My hvac module part number is 68493386AE.....

@vincentw56 description of how it works is correct, I agreed with him.
As to your part number, IDK, I know the new controller in my truck doesn't operate the same as the old and mine did exactly as his did

I'd guess one of the 1st 2 versions but IDK if the BCM is reflashed for the new part or if it's just installed and operates per it's programming.
With the way everything else is on this truck, I suspect there's some reprogramming that has to occur.

I can tell you for fact that the old unit/programming my truck came with worked 100% exactly as you are wanting.

If it worked like that then it was broken and not working properly.

This is a serious 1st world dilemma. It must be resolved! Don't even think for a second about saying "Open your window".

I do open my windows. In fact, I prefer to drive with my windows down. And that is a big part of the problem. If the windows are down and I still want to use the fan, then the interior temperature is neither the Comfort set point temperature nor the outside temperature. Again, that results in the start/stop being disabled!!!

This fine machine would solve the HVAC issues. Bet it will even auto stop at each light. rare-1970-dodge-power-wagon-4x4-v-8-318-4-speed-all-stock-and-original-w100-1.jpg
