So in my case i ordered/used the Rough Country pre-loaded struts and they were not meant for a V6, only for a V8. The spacer kit that modifies your existing strut is what will work for trucks with a V6. The preloaded strut gives and extra 1.5” lift and causes the horns to be unalligned with the lower control arm and will tear away on the aluminum lower control arms.
I’m having this same issue aswell. I have the ready lift , don’t know when it started. But it’s pretty badI have the same issue right now!
Were you able to figure out the issue?
So I guess this is a common issue rough country recommends when getting your truck alignment to get turn stops so your truck can’t turn all the way and rub the lca and spindleI got under truck this morning, I noticed the spindle and lower control arms had rub marks. Both sides same spots...
Any one have input? Is this normal from extra flex off roading?
Or could it be from the geometry on 3.5 Rough Country Lift?
