Anyone know where these trucks like to run for cruising speed or rpm for the best fuel economy? Also what are you getting for fuel economy? I have a crew limited 4x4 with 3.92 currently seeing around 16 mpg with 1000 miles on it running 87 octane

with the 3.92 you knew your mpg were going to be slightly lower then Ram's actual figures. Plus if I'm not mistaken 89 octane is recommended don't know if that would play a part but its possible.

I have a Crewcab Bighorn 4x4 with 3.92 and about 900 miles, I'm seeing numbers between 16-16.5 with an equal mix of city and highway with a good amount of hills and such. Seems to be right around where everyone else is so I'm happy with it. But boy was the first 500 miles with 13-14 MPG worrying. I'm content with my current numbers falling just about in line with Rams EPA numbers.

The Hemis seem to take awhile to "loosen up". After around 3-4000 miles is when a lot of people including myself have seen fuel mileage improvements.

My 2016 Tradesmen V8 Hemi always consistently was 15-16mpg with 87 octane and a 8 speed trans. 99% city driving.
My 2017 Laramie Ecodiesel V6 has been 19mpg lately with 8 speed trans and 99% city driving.
