Rough Country Dual 6-inch LED Grille Kit

I just had the lower bar installed last week, but didnt do the work myself. The labor that the shop was going to charge me for the LED's in the upper grill was ridiculous so just went with the lower one. Works great and looks great - really love the amber daytime running lights on the model I bought. A couple of recommendations - the light comes with a 3-way switch so the DRL's arent wired to the day time running lights on the truck. I wish they were because I am going to forget to turn that off more than once! I also bought a replacement lower grill from Mopar because the one I have didnt have the holes opened. Good Luck
how hard was it to replace the lower grill? My 2022 Ram Sport doesn't have the two part lower grill and can't find any instruction videos of someone changing them out.

Candidly I didnt do the work myself and had my local shop install for me. I purchased the one piece replacement lower grill direct from Mopar.

Reviving an old thread. I just installed these today, super easy install imo as I’ve previously taken apart the front end a few times.

For the wiring, has anybody wired these to come on with the DRLs automatically instead of using the switch? I would prefer that instead of having to turn them on and off every time getting in and out of the truck.

I’m about to do these and decided it’s not worth splicing them into the factory lights. One they are off road use and if you get the blue light special you have no way to say hey I’ll turn them off. Second I don’t see the point to having them on during day light. I’m going to add them to a last lift junction box and have control when ever I choose I mean it’s a small non entry action of using a finger to push a button.

I figured it out on my own. Instead of the positive running to the battery, I wired in a fuse tap so they come on with the truck now. The switch inside the truck still works so you can turn them off if you want and it stays in that state until you change it

I really wish a company would make them for the 2500 but I haven't seen any yet. I know rough country don't make them for the 2500.
