For those running tire poke and only drive in the city; how bad are the rock chips on your Ram?

Also, does bigger gapped treads prevent rocks getting stuck in the tires, or do they grab larger rocks?

Depends how much. If it’s only an inch or so I never had issues.

I use husky mudflaps from amazon and have no issues. This may not completely eliminate the issue if you’re running a high negative offset that causes more than 1.5” of tire poke, but it will reduce the issue.

The WeatherTech's are very nice too and I prefer them over the Husky's...my 2 cents. Neither does $hit for poke though;)

Mine stick 1” out from the sides of the body, so it does help for me. There is still a decent amount that gets by from the bottomish area of the front tires, but it’s nothing like before I had them. I would rather have the weathertechs, but I got my huskys for $26.
