Salutations!

below are some reference numbers. Early assessment says the frame isn’t bent but I disagree. Disclaimer is that I know little about this stuff but I have eyes and a brain

I don’t see how the bed moved that much on one side and the frame didn’t

Thoughts?

if it is, and they don't fix it, you will ruin tires very quickly as alignment and camber will always be off. But...the bed and/or cab could have shifted on their mounts from the force of the impact.

But shifted in the opposite direction?
We are taking it to a dealer to see if we can align the tires. They also have a complex computer that measures frames etc

Auto damage appraiser here..shop should be paid to at LEAST to measure the frame on a frame machine. You should insist on that. Here in MA that's just a 2.0 hour allowance at $40-$45 an hour insurance rate.

From your pictures, your frame is banana'd. Assuming the primary impact point to the right front frame rail. Right side cab is closer to the bed then the left. Yes, I am an insurance adjuster.

They replaced part of the frame. Waiting on the rest. I called the insurance co. and said I wanted my brakes replaced considering the truck had been sitting there for 9 weeks .....

so now she has new brakes :)

they said I’d have it back by end of next week but my guess is more like 3 weeks
