Alright! 996 miles on my 2020 and it did this same thing today. Remote started, turned off. CEL lit up. Now the AC is a mess, won’t go on sync or auto, blows hot air when set to low, the radio was on but no sound and showed muted no matter how many times I pressed the mute button. NOT happy at all. Soooooooooo, yea. Will have to get a code pulled and see what happens.

Ha! Now my truck is dead...sitting at a stoplight now waiting for a tow truck. What the heck, Ram!!?? Driving the truck then the battery light started flashing at me. Got to a stoplight and then The whole cluster lit up and the thing just shut off. Good grief. Should have kept my ‘03. Not feeling good about this purchase now.

Did remote start as I was walking up to my truck tonight. Started fine, my son got in, and then it shut off. Thought that was weird, got in, checked my gas (over half full still). Started from inside and noticed my check engine light is now on.

Just got back from an oil change on Monday so I checked the level. It looks fine.

Anyone else have this? I guess I'll call tomorrow and see if I can get in to check it out
Issue with remote starting vehicle, runs a few seconds then shuts off. Wanted an antitheft code. Sometimes won't start when not using remote start. Flashes all kinds of codes, check engine light stays on. At the dealer twice, this time replaced the powertrain control module. Picked it up today, drove home fine, shut off vehicle. Husband remote started it, it died. Tried this a couple of times with same results. Check engine light back on, any ideas?

Mine is doing the exact same thing. I have not been able to pull a code though, although the message on the cluster said "REMOTE START MALFUNCTION" and got the CEL. It did this twice within a couple of weeks. Today the CEL turned off. I have not used the remote start since the last time it has messed up.

Did anyone get resolution on this? I took mine to the dealer for an oil change and since I’ve gotten it back I’ve had CEL issues, including what you mentioned with remote start…

Mine did this twice today, remote start, ran 10-15 seconds truck shuts down. Checked the code U1109 is what came up on mine. Seems to be a fairly random code that gets generated by whatever is causing this

Got mine figured out, turns out my $40 scanner wasn't reading the correct code. It was actually u11E9 which is the active grill shutters. The grill shutters and the active air dam ( if equipped ) are on the same circuit and PCM signal. Apparently the air dam motor is known for getting water in it which shorts it out causing a CEL.

Un plug the air dam motor and all is well!!
