Recommended air bags?

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 2WD 5.7L. We just bought travel trailer (Escape 21), about 5,000 lbs. The truck does drop a little when the trailer is hooked up. It also bounces some from the weight of the trailer. I have not noticed any sway. I don't really want to have to use a Weight Distribution Hitch. Would air bags help? Which brand do you guys recommend?

I've used airlift on this truck and my last truck and I like them. Also my friend's 2001 chevy is still using the airlift bags from back then. WDH is completely different than air bags but I don't think your trailer is heavy enough to warrant it.

Air bags will help level the back end, but its not designed to take any weight off the rear axle.

I would actually recommend WDH, think that trailer is heavy enough for it, if it's dialed in right it would make a huge difference. Instead of the back bouncing up and down, it feels like the whole truck is bouncing up and down, like the weight is over your head / center of the truck instead of the tailgate. Makes a huge difference IMHO.

I'm thinking of airbags too. Other members here have been running sumo springs or timbrens which replace the bump stop with a hard rubber spring. Much cheaper than air, and doesn't require maintenance, but I tried the sumo springs and didn't like how it changed ride quality of empty truck.
