Just a thought. What if you disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect. Maybe it will reset itself.

A transmission swap in these things as easy as doing brakes. Let them swap it no big deal warranty will re start.

Warranties don't restart, unless there is some part specific provision for it?

I have purchased two '19 Ram's, and both have needed new transmissions due to not going into drive, and slamming into gear after applying gas. This, along with MANY other quality defects on both of my trucks leads me to believe that quality control is non-existent at the SHAP. Regardless if tranny replacements are as easy as a brake job, the fact that this issue is dangerous and FCA doesn't have a fix is unacceptable. Now I know why my family, friends, and colleagues not only do not own a FCA product, but highly recommended that I do not purchase one regardless of how "pretty the dress" is. I was fooled twice by FCA, but never again. For $63500, I expected more...MUCH more. Oh, and my warranty never restarted.

I think they replaced your trannys because they don’t know what’s causing it ,u could very well get a new tranny doing the same issue , if I was betting I would say it’s a control issue , solenoid or valvebody , a recall will be issued , some dummy will get run over when he’s checks the front of his truck for something impedeing it . Then a real fix with procedures will come out how to address , they don’t want to replace trannys left and right , it’s pricey , I’m waiting it out , cause there is nothing I can do , bring it to a dealer that is clueless as of now is stupid , they r puppets, till then hope for a fix , hope it’s a solenoid. What sucks for me 1 month 490 miles , 3 issues , I had 2 Lexus’s and a camery, no issues for 8-10 years .

I agree, FCA has no clue what it is and this could definitely cause someone to get seriously injured. Also, I have had many Lexus/Toyota vehicles over the years and never went to the dealer other than for an oil change. The new Ram caught my eye because it is a very good looking truck with an amazing interior. The technology is also impressive, but again this "pretty dress" is all for show. I have never purchased one vehicle, much less two in a row that have the quality issues that mine have had. It's so painfully obvious that FCA has quite possibly the worst quality control/build quality program in the automobile industry. Ultimately, it's my stupidity that I didn't listen to reason and trust my instincts. FCA (Dodge) has historically had the worst quality ratings in the industry, and those closest to me said that nothing has changed....now I believe them.

The outcome of most of these issues is how qualified your dealers shop is and if they're able to think outside the box for you. Excellent customer service and a free (equivalent) loaner for the duration of the repairs would make me forget just about anything.

why no foot on the brake when shifting from park to drive? never even thought about it before it is such habit for me. thought it was required.

In 2000 bought a new and last GM product. Transmission failed at 2200 miles. Was replaced and had nothing but trouble with it from radio controls not working to windows falling off track. Ignition also failed and had numerous electrical problems the two years I had it.

My cousin purchased a Camry and it was the biggest piece of **** just like your experiencing now with this truck and that’s too bad. I have had numerous FCA products and not a single problem knock on wood. You can have good or bad with any of them don’t get me started with my friend and his sickness for BMW’s that are always in the shop. If you can’t just find a good dealer/mechanic that can get it fixed for you just move on pick your next poison and hope for better luck. First world problems buddy.
