Rebel hood vent.

It sounds like a cool idea based off older ideas. But this won't help with performance of the truck at all. This was a design for aesthetics and it does in fact look good. Does it matter if they are functional? Not at all.

It could help vent heat in offroad/slow/stopped situations. that could be considered "performance"

If this was a thing then performance shops all over the place would be pushing the idea. Even when im at the track racing. Nobody has functional vents. This was a theory decades ago but doesn't hold much weight unless your pushing serious horsepower. The only advantage would be vents that allow air to run through the brakes to keep them cool. But otherwise there is nothing to really gain at all

I use them to catch all of the pollen and leaves and bugs, you guys don't find that useful!?
See the link below for my nightmare...

I've had mine open for awhile. It works well at venting heat much like my Scat Pack Challenger hood.

did you just cut the little holes patiently with a small razor?
The top of the vents are actually open you can see there is a drain hole in the bottom front of the vent.
The bottom of the vent was cut open with a Dremel to expose 2 rows of vents.
BTW I did the exact same thing for my 2024 Wrangler Rubicon hood vents.
