Just a theory, but I wondered if the rear window frame crack/leak has to do with vibration from the subwoofer. This is just a theory I'm exploring...

But doubtful. That weak *** sub vibrates less than the MDS. Crap design, cheap plastic.

2019 W/ALPINE. Cracked trim but not leaking. Appointment on the 3rd.

It's the lousy plastic from the supplier, affected other brands as well. I have the doo-doo base stereo, two visible cracks with leaks
