After my first full tank fill-up, I gotta say I’m quite pleased with the ecodiesel! I commute five days per week to and from work - 65 miles one way. One thing to note is that the dealership did not have the DEF topped off when I drove it off the lot; it was at about 3/4. Upon my next full tank fill-up, I’ll do the ‘two click method’ just as I did for the first full tank fill-up to maintain consistency. I’ll take photos and post/update. What are you all averaging mpg-wise??

This was my best so far. Unloaded, just me driving to Michigan and back. On the way there truck showed 30.3, coming back was all in the rain and dropped overall to 29. I commute about 90miles a day round trip, not fully highway and have been averaging about 26-27mpg per tank. Truck has just over 8k miles now, so far so good.

what engine and axle? I've got the hemi and 3.92 and got 21 on the highway doing 75.

Hemi, 3.92, 33" stock tires getting 13 mpg mixed (60% city/40% highway). Note I live in Socal, there are no flat roads here, even the highways have inclinations and various grades.

In Cincinnati, 70% city and 30% highway. Hemi with 3.21 and 12.5/33” Toyo Open country tires getting 13.7 mpg right now.

DC 80% highway, 20% city, rebel rims and tires on a Bighorn and getting 17 mpg but don't drive it kindly....

'21 Hemi non-etorque, 4x4, 3.92. Only about 750 miles so far but my average is 14.6. I was expecting bad, but better than that.

Using a hand calculation - 19.94 Highway only - 17.64 Mixed City/Hwy - 15.43 - City only

Same...different coast but 33” tires, 3.92 and a level. 13-14 and that’s without a lead food.

Hemi Off Road Group 3.92 34 inch tires(ko2) I'm getting 11.4.

Thank you all for your input and noting tire size. I’m getting good real world info on what size tires to go up to in the future and how it may affect my mpg. Appreciate the posts thus far.

Hemi, 3.92, 32" (factory equivalent) tires, 95% city. Only 3000 miles, but 13.5 to 14 MPG in winter, 14 to 14.5 MPG in summer.
Best so far on the highway (one and only long trip yet) was 18.

Fairly disappointed with my MPG. Lifetime MPG since November 2018 is hand calc 17.2 with an overall average of 65/35 highway/city. Best highway tank was 19.9 on a road trip from VA to NY with about 700-800 pounds of passengers and cargo. I wouldn't go so far as to say I drive like a granny, but I definitely don't have a heavy foot.

10.5-13.8mpg. Both by hand calculations and read out display.

almost 8k miles on it so far.

Forgot to mention i tried 87, 89 and 93. Driving style has a bigger impact of course.

I will say I took a 6hr highway round trip last week that included the Catskill mountains and through NYC twice and I was surprised I hit 19 on the way there and 18 the way back. Avg 65-70mph probably. 33in tires, level, 3.92 gears.

With my eco diesel I was averaging 25 summer and 23 winter with 3.92s. Moved on to a ram rebel with the hemp and now I’m at a solid 13. With the diesel, cetane booster definitely made a noticeable difference in both power and fuel economy.

Happy for those getting good mpg but I didn't but this truck because it was good on gas. I really don't pay attention to my mpg.
Thats probably the healthy (mentally) thing to do. I agree, we didn't buy a truck to be a Prius. I pay attention to it only because it can sometimes tell you when something is wrong.
E.g. If my MPG is 13-14 for multiple months, then suddenly drops to 9, and I didn't change my route/driving style/etc., something is probably wrong mechanically and needs to be fixed.
