PD = Power Delivery; Quickcharge is the older tech.the wireless charging pad is indeed slow. Especially when using the phone for Android Auto. Also annoying that I have to remove the case on the phone.
So I use a cable (usb c to usb c) and that goes better. But in none of the cars I drove I had fast charging via usb. If you really want to use fast charging, you need to have one of the 12v cigarette chargers that support quickcharge.
Here's a quick search on Amazon for a PD charger ... https://smile.amazon.com/Charger-AINOPE-Cigarette-Lighter-Adapter/dp/B089R67JV4/ref=sr_1_7?crid=4ALZ2JLO1NPY&keywords=car+usb+c+pd&qid=1657551293&sprefix=car+usb+c+pd,aps,83&sr=8-7
But I use the usb C port on the dash to connect my phone (Pixel6) for Android Auto mainly for navigation Google maps. And it does quickly charge my phone. This is what I use ... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TSHB8LJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
