Rambox/E-torque order tracking

Well, I'm officially out of the RamBox waiting game.

Dealer finally admitted this weekend that the truck I ordered is FUBARed. Built 8/7/18 and been sitting in Detroit since. On engineering hold with no end in sight.

Found one on a lot that was close enough and got a smoking hot deal on it. Absolutely love the truck. Would have loved RamBoxes too. Oh well - so it goes.

Best of luck to everyone else still waiting. Here's hoping my build is the only one FCA F'd up.

Out of curiosity, where were you sitting for so long? I’ve been at the Budd Yard since 9/7/18 so I might have the same issue. If so, I’m going to see about getting my dealer working on figuring that out.

The truck has been at the Detroit Mound Road Yard Offsite since 8/20. Still JB status. Hope you get a better outcome!

I think you made the right move @Met4b based off of everyone else's progress. Your truck was an anomoly based off the build path everyone else had. God knows what was wrong with it. I've been keeping an eye on your build in MOTS for a while and it was just sitting in JB...and sitting....and sitting. No movement at all. Normally, they will move to KZ and like mine, sit for a while waiting on a train...or something but not more than a few weeks.
I was going to suggest to you to reorder yours since some of the new guys are getting theres in a couple of months now. I don't guess it paid to be an early May customer after all.

I do have a scheduled delivery date of 10/12-10/18 but I've still not get loaded on a train yet.

Hey guys, did your trucks come with a window sticker from the factory with your name on it? Read something early on that they were doing this.

Dealer just text me that my truck has arrived! Can pick up tonight! Wahooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
Now to decide if its worth the gamble to wait for incentives to reset tomorrow! #firstworldproblems

I've been following yours since we ordered the same day and I'm not going to lie. Im jealous, I'm still in D1 and you've done updated twice now while i'm still in D1 . Congratulations though

Nice to see the Rambox trucks getting built quicker! That said, getting on a train seems to still take a while;)
Order 7/20
D1 8/25
KZ 9/21
Still waiting to get on a train (though I have moved yards!)

I'm guessing my dealer's estimate of 10/6 in Selkirk NY is realistic; hopefully I can take delivery within 10 days (first they need to get it trucked up, then all set for delivery).

If you are king of the salesmen, you might be able to get them to also order the bed step at no charge but to the best of my knowledge no one has been able to pull that off. My dealer happily ordered the mounts but wouldn't budge on the bed step.
Same experience here, getting the pegs but no bed step.

Ordered a Revolver X4 tonneau cover yesterday as well as the Bedrug universal mat. The mat was only $85 so I'm not out much if it doesn't work well.
Interested to hear how both go on! Especially the Bedrug as they aren’t making ‘19 Rambox specific models for now. I’m testing a Classic size next week hopefully...

Wohoo my truck is KZ as of Today! Hmm I wonder when it will show up in Massachusetts?

Woohoo @YoAdrian ! Hopefully mine follows the same path. Is love to get it before mid October, got a few trips lined up the last weekend would be nice to drive it.

Unless like mine it was KZ at Detroit Mound Road Yard, and has since been moved back to Sterling Heights assembly plant. I went KZ on 9/20 I believe, and have still not shipped.

Sorry to hear, hope they sort out your order and ship that sucker soon!

So what's the average time from "I" status to KZ these days?

I'd say the average is a day but many pass through "I" in less time. Just depends on how busy they are. I've seen it take several days during the initial ramp up of Rambox production.
