Did I ghost write this post? Sounds like what I’ve said on a couple threads.
I decided on the (2015) 2.7 F150 after just 30 seconds taking it out on the highway... I wasn't even concerned with the interior.
Now this tine the interior and cabin sold us on the RAM, and the hemi, while ok, wasn't the reason I wanted the truck. I actually don't think the hemi is anything special but the truck around it is, air conditioning notwithstanding.

Lol, I'm a Ford guy driving a RAM, but that's saying a lot on how good the current RAMs are. Though the only one I wanted was a red Rebel and no other RAM would do honestly.

My rear camera on my Rebel started acting up today, all I got was a black screen. Though my F150 did the same if I didn't close the tail gate good enough, but I could always fix it by slamming on the tailgate. But with the my Rebel, I couldn't tinker with it to come back on, it just came back on later in the day on it's own.

I heard it could need a flash or possibly a new module. Not a big deal to be honest. Other than that, my truck has been glorious!

If you buy a F150, ***DO NOT*** opt for the 5.0 V8. lots of oil consumption issues (they are replacing long blocks rapidly).

I'm not sure what area you are located. South Louisiana (May and June) were advertising 11 - 13,000 off of the F-150's. My KR sticker was 59,xxx (I opted for the one without pano roof and chrome package) and I had 11,000 straight off of the sticker Jan. 2018. I went back and looked at them before I got the ram and they had 7-8 marked at 13,000 off and a 2019 Raptor was marked at 10,000 off. Ram interior and ride got my attention and went that route.

I think that was limited to 2018 models from what I read on their forums. Mustangs as well.

Maybe its just this dealer but sorry, my son paid less for his level 1 4x Limited than they want for the Lariat... It does have the killer 3.5 Ecoboost though... So RAM rebates in July/August still beat Ford’s offerings. At least in central NC.

unfortunately, its into the '19's as well....Ford tried the plasma arc technology for coating the cylinder walls and its not working too good. Same engine in the 19's for the 5.0.
The ford forum I am on has about three seperate threads with the topic, and its not corrected in a 19.

The Hemi is extremely dependable or has been with the last 4 Hemi Rams owned. The ticking noise from exhaust bolts snapping only issue others have mentioned I escaped that all 5 times.:)

Nice you dont have the tick issue. My 14’ Ford Edge 3.5 does.

That’s exactly what I saw. A $52,000 XLT was selling for $46K, I got a $53,000 Big Horn for $38K. For that price difference I was willing to take the chance on a first year model Ram even knowing their rep for first year models is horrendous. After 2,000 miles driving it it appears I’m not cursed with any noticeable flaws other than the garbage AC system which I have fixed with the hack.

Which hack did you use, adjustable valve or completely shut off?
