I think we need to file a class action lawsuit, no one should spend $40-50,000 dollars only to be put at risk for the Truck shutting off while turning in traffic!!

Apparently all the complaints on this site and others are all made up, i thought people were being real on here , oh well

If it was you sitting in the highway with your truck stalled you would feel differently, ill not post again, it's obvious this is another I LOVE MY RAM website
Google the issue, its a real problem!

Why don't you gather all the information together and get the lawyer. Once you have the info, let us know and we will sign up for it.

Will do, I have contacted a lemon law attorney in Detroit about reviewing the case

Not saying this isn't an issue but the forums is a very small percentage of all RAM owners in the overall picture. Sure people are going to feel different if the issue happens to them compared to those that aren't. Get your lawyer to figure out how many roughly this has happened to and get your lawsuit going. Get RAM to figure out the problem and send a recall if that is where it goes.

WIth that, I haven't had the issue you speak of either.

is it me or no one knows the problem other than "my truck shut of while turning".? Could be a simple issue. Again I must be late to this story.
No one is dismissing the OP but a little more information may help you . I m at 13K with no issues, yet.

My 2019 shut off at a stop light one time and did not restart. I restarted with the push button but never had any other issues with the etorque system.

In Michigan, here’s our lemon law requirements.
Does it meet these:

Question: What if the problem I reported continues to be an issue?

Answer: If the problem continues after a reasonable number of repair attempts, you may be entitled to a refund. The refund would be for the purchase or lease price of a comparable replacement vehicle.

Question: What is considered a reasonable number of repair attempts?

Answer: A reasonable number of repair attempts means one of the following has happened:

  1. The same problem still exists even after the vehicle has been in for repairs four or more times within two-years of the first attempted repair.
  2. The vehicle is out for repairs for 30 or more days during the warranty term. Or 30 or more days within one year from the date of delivery to the original buyer. Whichever comes first. This option does not require it to be the same problem causing the days out of service.

Had it happen to me at a stop light once I figured it was because the body shop has the battery disconnected and not everything was online yet.

I’ll just agree with the title.

Yes, eTorque is junk.

I rate it right up there with MDS and AFM on GM’s. Different systems than eTorque but still nothing but a manufacturer feel good add on that will for sure cause issues down the road……….after warranties expire of course.

just for laughs... Ram should ask the customers what they think, LOL.
