Does anyone know how the Rubigrid wireless charge gets its power from? Can't seem to find any info on the bulletpoint site about it..

Probably one of the USB ports or If you wanted a less conspicious charging cable you could probably find a cig port to whatever the connector on the holder is and just use that port in the pocket there.

it uses a USB cable, which means you would need to put an adapter in the 12v outlet that's on top of the dash and then run a cable to the charging base.

thanks, that's the same one I purchased. I am also buying a USB 12v charger and some short 1 ft USB cables.
I ended up having to source a 2ft cable. They're tricky to find as most are either 1 or 3ft. 1 was too short for my application as I have the "long" 10cm arm and the 3ft was way to much slack, and my OCD wouldn't allow for that 😅 . But overall it's by far the best set up for these trucks.

Pro tip: I ended up adding a small piece of foam rubber weatherstripping under the arm to give it something to rest against the dash. If you don't, your phone is gonna vibrate like a mofo.

You have link to those two foot 90 degree cords? I found 1.6ft ones and coiled ones.

Search Amazon for B0C744K6LR. its been great. Extra cool points for the fiber wrap that totally blends into my Limited trim! Oh and yes, using the 70W charger (search for B0BM41ZLH9) does "super charge" my Samsung Galaxy S22, which makes for a stupid fast recharge rate.

Do you think a dash cam could be mounted off the mount? Looks like there is power there. Guess you couldn't get a rear cam cabled. Cool setup tho.
For sure. I'm sure Bulletpoint has an option for some kind of camera. My only hesitance would be location. I would think its way too low for a camera. The dash and hood are going to dominate the field of view, unless you want to run some super long arm extensions. For cameras, you want them as high as possible in the windshield.

I finally installed it and see what you mean about the vibration while driving. I guess the weight of the phone and the arm are just not stable enough. I will try the rubber foam trick.

That's why I took mine out and went to a Proclip. The vibration drove me crazy 🤪
