Does anyone know how the Rubigrid wireless charge gets its power from? Can't seem to find any info on the bulletpoint site about it..

Probably one of the USB ports or If you wanted a less conspicious charging cable you could probably find a cig port to whatever the connector on the holder is and just use that port in the pocket there.

it uses a USB cable, which means you would need to put an adapter in the 12v outlet that's on top of the dash and then run a cable to the charging base.

thanks, that's the same one I purchased. I am also buying a USB 12v charger and some short 1 ft USB cables.
I ended up having to source a 2ft cable. They're tricky to find as most are either 1 or 3ft. 1 was too short for my application as I have the "long" 10cm arm and the 3ft was way to much slack, and my OCD wouldn't allow for that 😅 . But overall it's by far the best set up for these trucks.

Pro tip: I ended up adding a small piece of foam rubber weatherstripping under the arm to give it something to rest against the dash. If you don't, your phone is gonna vibrate like a mofo.

You have link to those two foot 90 degree cords? I found 1.6ft ones and coiled ones.
