Hi eliasgzz,
I want to apologize that you are experiencing all of this with your new truck. If you plan to continue working with your dealership to have your concerns addressed, you can send me a private message and I would be happy to get you set up with a Case Specialist who will work with your dealer to look for potential solutions.

1. You'll need to elaborate on this. Are you saying it isn't blowing at all or not blowing cold? Does it do this at any time or only in certain situations?
2. Not sure what a squeeze sound is, do you mean squeaking?
3. This is probably a bad seal, it can happen, but it can be fixed as well. You will need to take a tech on a test drive with you so he can hear the issue as well.
4. This is a known issue, and should be patched in the future with a software update.
5. Not sure what this one means other, please describe what a cracking sound from the road means.
6. The truck is randomly turning off? While you are driving? Or is it turning off at stop lights, which it is supposed to do. It's called Electronic Start/Stop, and saves fuel.
7. This is the case on pretty much every truck. The odometer is different from the distance the truck has traveled according to GPS, as the GPS is counting the train it was put on during shipping etc.
8. Also a known issue that should be fixed with a software update.
9. Is it actually turning off or getting slightly warmer? This is most likely related to #6 and also because of Electronic Start/Stop.
Truck don't have star/stop system

Hey All
My truck is less than 3 weeks old and I have had mine go to the dealer for the service axle locker code that keeps popping up as I drive. The unfortunate part that it’s a code that not sticking around and disappears
The dealer as usual looks at me and says there is no service bulletin on it and they don’t know yet so I should continue to keep an eye onit.
Obviously this is driving me nuts especially the truck doesn’t even have 700kms yet ( Yes it’s a Canadian vehicle )

Two days after purchase (3rd 2019 contract as prior commitments by dealer fell thru) my warning lights came in for cruise control, adaptive cruise, trailer brakes, lane departure and abs. Dealer said they reset the codes. Three days later same issue. Has the truck two weeks and one week of that it has been in the shop. 60k spend and have no confidence in this truck.

Call FCA and get a case opened. Dealer should be trying to help you and not shrugging their shoulders.

Make sure to fill out the poll "How is your 2019 running" to help us all track these different issues.

So the truck is back at the dealer let’s see what happens and what FCA has to say. Will keep everyone advised in case if someone else has the same issue

I'm having the same issues as you are from #'s 1, 3, 4, and 7 on your list.
-The worst is the WHISTLE coming from the vent/recirculation! Like...I sometimes don't even drive my $60,000 truck if I need to go above 50! Took it on a long road trip and it whistled the ENTIRE TRIP!! The dealership said they looked online and saw a video about the vent and recirculation. It definitely changes when I turn those on and off but it's always there! The mechanic told me to maybe just not use that!!!! Seriously?
-And my AC seems like it just NEVER get cold! Blows cool air maybe...but it never cools down. It's really bad.
-I have to turn my truck off and on sometimes to get the 12" screen to work. It's usually just black. which means you have no controls for anything!
-And I had the same issue with my odometer vs. "distance traveled" or whatever they call it in the nav area. off by over 5,000 miles! This truck didn't travel 5,000 miles to the dealership.

I've been MORE than annoyed with this entire experience. If I could go back and get my 2012 F150 back that I traded I would in a heartbeat. Especially for a sticker price of $64,000.

Has anyone heard anything about any fixes for these things? I haven't heard a word from my dealership after they told me to just not use the recirculation! Really??? Don't use a feature on your brand new truck? that's the fix????

Yep I’d approach it by both opening a case with FCA and by making sure I was dealing with the service manager from that point on. If still getting non-helpful responses take the repair to another dealership if you can. It’s sad but seems true that the quality of service departments in the FCA network varies way more than it should... if you find a bad one run away.

Easy for me to say though @jjbb123 and @Abhishekb01 as I have multiple dealerships near me... not everyone has options so getting the service manager to understand your problem, and to know that you are elevating it, gives you the best odds of a response.

Does a service department have any record of where a vehicle was purchased when you bring it in for servicing?

Any dealer can pull that up but every dealership I've ever heard of runs service as a separate P&L meaning service departments LOVE to service trucks bought elsewhere. Or they should...

Probably, but all dealers will service their brand’s vehicles under warranty. Some service departments are just better, and more customer focused than others.
