2019 Ram 6.7 Laramie 3500 mega, Alpine, 8.4 inch screen with nav 125K miles. I replaced both batteries two days ago. Upon initial start up, most accessories were missing from the center stack screen, Most have come back, but the rear view camera still doesn't work showing "blue screen/camera system not available" and the audio cuts out every 10 seconds for 2 seconds on all sources. Second start this morning, the camera came back but was gone again after the next ignition cycle. U-connect site shows up to date by VIN (1828.08), Alphaobd shows camera signal present., no errors. Do I wait it out or is it dealer time?

EDIT: Tailgate disconnected, no change. If I pull fuse #95, the radio stops pulsing. Bad CHMSL camera? Blind spot and Park Assist works normally with fuse in place. Any way to isolate? Disconnect the cameras?

Not related to battery replacements, but when I had my 2018 2500, my backup camera would do that once in awhile. No rhyme or reason, but I opened and closed the tailgate, and it would work again. I figured that it was a connection issue in the tailgate, but it wasn’t very often and the tailgate open/closing always seemed to fix it. Did you ever have the blue screen before the battery replacements? These 4-wheeled computers sometimes take time ( key cycles ), could also try a soft reset on the radio. Good luck

Never had this issue before. I did check the tailgate connector several times, no joy. The radio cutting in and out (only in MAR, works fine in ACC) is the major complaint. I thought they were connected but the radio was still cycling while the camera was briefly working.
I tried a reset via Alpha and disconnecting the batteries (Both hard?). Radio does not respond to reset via buttons, either volume/tuner or left/right at bottom of screen. another thread suggested pushing and holding upper right corner, no effect.
There are a few older threads discussing this problem with no apparent solution. U-connect website has a disclaimer that the dealer may have newer updates than they show. No clear answers and no list of current updates.

When you have to disconnect the battery this is a common issue. Many, many folks had this happen. The system resets and you then have to wait for all the apps and features to redownload. The truck reconfigures itself slowly. It will come back in a day or two.

Go on Amazon and search for "OBD Memory Saver Battery." It's an OBD plug to alligator clips to keep the modules powered when you disconnect the battery. This will help the next time.

I recently replaced the battery in my 2022 Laramie 1500. I lost several functions, and a function I had disabled, re-enabled itself and would not turn off. A couple of functions began working after a day, but still had no remote start and I still could not disable a function. This lasted for a week or so. I finally performed a complete factory reset of the Uconnect system through the radio (I have the 12” screen). Everything was back to normal after that. I had to completely redo all of my settings and preferences, PITA.

Try unhooking the battery again to reset the system. Or try a hard reset of the acreen
