Price negotiated from MSRP

Going tomorrow to pick mine up. Been 2 months waiting for it. Anyone have a Ram coupon they aren’t using?

Great deal.
Did you have trade?

Yeah 2wd.....almost went for 4wd but I really do not have a use for it where I live.

61k sounds a bit high.....you might have other options that aren’t displayed on the window sticker. Ask for a build sheet and compare

Laramie 4wd
Black appearance package
Level 2
12” inch nav
Bed utility
Advanced safety

Msrp 62,650

2019 Ram 1500 4wd Crew Cab 5'7 Big Horn
MSRP- $49,780
Invoice- $46,821
After discount and rebates(6K)
$38606 Plus taxes, title fees

2019 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 Hemi, Billet Silver, 3.92, Anti Spin, Uconnect 4C Nav, Rear Wheel Liners, Level 1, Bed Util, Rambox, Trailer Brake, 18" wheels (hate the look of narrow sidewalls)

MSRP: $55,490
Price before TTL: $43,000
I brought an FCA Affiliate code, they discounted the rest of the way. Factory order.

Vetted out 7 dealers all thru email before getting to this deal. No driving around; email and calls.

Was very surprised at the lack of knowledge at some dealers. Had 1 tell me I had to select chrome or black apperance, another told me 20" rims are the smallest available, and another tell me all Laramie side mirrors are power folding (even tow mirrors). Thanks to this forum, I knew better.

2019 LImited on the lot, in the color, interior, and gizmos that I was looking for. Thanks to @Ezshooter here for the education on area dealers and their pricing. A day of back and forth email negotiations. Test drove a Limited a few weeks ago for a short drive but did not visit another until delivery.

$69745 MSRP
$57470 Selling price
plus tax and reasonable t&l
$61500 OTD, no trade-in

Got close with another dealer but they had already sold the truck that had the exact spec I wanted, but had another I would have gladly taken as a compromise. But this (and non-stop sale-killing rain) kept the dealer I had originally dismissed on price interested enough to compete (in order to close any deal during the monsoon) and get an acceptable price on the spec I really preferred.

probably been said before but how do you get a FCA affiliate code ?

I got it for working at Home Depot. Could also use my wife's company (State Farm insurance) but not both, darn it! Your dealership has a list, very long list!

Join Tread Lightly!

Its $100, your code is valid in 30 days, you get a couple other discounts as well (like $50 off tires at Discount Tire) and its a fantastic cause. If you do any hunting, camping, hiking, 4 wheeling, etc they are on your side and your money goes to a good place. I cant recommend them enough.

And the best part, really took the BS out of my truck deal.

I emailed several dealers in the area, got a great quote, and then used it to negotiate a slightly better deal from my preferred local dealer, whose sales associate I really connected with and who spent a good deal of time on test drives, etc. with me.

This is a fairly spec'd-out Big Horn; while a similarly-equipped Laramie was only $1000 more (before incentives), with several additional desirable features included, I just couldn't get behind non-fabric seats. (After incentives, the Laramie would have been $3000 more than the Big Horn--enough of a difference for me to decide it wasn't worth it.)

The impact that this forum had on my decision-making and preparedness at the dealership cannot be understated. I am confident I saved thousands of dollars because of 5thGenRams. My goal was $13K under MSRP--I got pretty close.

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn

MSRP $53,175
-$6,758 negotiated (7% below invoice)
-$500 with Affiliate Code (Access Fund)
-$5500 guaranteed incentives (could be higher in month of delivery)
=$40,417 paid (plus Document Fee & TTT)

$12,758 (24%) under MSRP

Ordered in October 2018. According to the dealership, it is normally a 7-8 week wait, but due to the Ramboxes, I am told it will be 3 months for mine.

Pulled the plug one week ago on:

-$37,000 ACV for 2018 Nissan Titan (paid $39,500 new in July)

They are taking a loss using volume sales. Amazing prices...

I suggest going here and building it to see the Invoice Price.
