Price negotiated from MSRP

Ha! New here and this is the first post I read!!! It's funny because I just spent three hours at Knight CJDR yesterday trying to buy a truck. When it came time to close the deal, they pulled out a price much higher than the one advertised . They refused to honor the price and said it was a mistake. They also seem to play games with window stickers.... Bunch of BS.

I forgot about D Stanley in OKC but yes, that’s another shyster one. Having family there I tried shopping a few years ago (when I bought the 2019) and it was not a nice experience. Them and L Miller Ford both sucked. At the time Koonz was playing games as well, hiding the $1695 delivery tilll the very bottom of the deal.

I wasn't even aware of MD, I did try Laura RAM in St Louis yet was able to buy fairly locally for a couple K more, saving the drive.

lol when i was ordering Koon's straight up said "we don't do business with california because their registration process is a pain"
that felt rude BUT i love that idea and i wish more businesses are like that to stand up to the big brother.

I did. He offered some great pricing on a 2025 order, which I am now pondering.
do it bro.
if your ducks are in a row are the incentives and pricing are good, jump on it.
i'm still waiting for the right color ordering to open and interest rate to drop more... and also saving up so i can pay for full thuren kit and GFC at the time of ordering truck. i do not leave my truck stock for too long lol

Trying to decide between buying out the lease on my 2022 Built to Serve (Big Horn Level 2) that I really like, but honestly with used car loan interest rates and the promotions going on it'll almost be a better deal to just buy a new one.

Lots of good deals out there (especially the guys at Mark Dodge). Don't have the cash to buy outright so need to finance, with deals on Laramies right now being like 20%-25% off MSRP and low interest for 60-72 months versus 5-7% (best case) loans on pre-owned...man I dunno.

I haven't test driven a hurricane yet going to go do that this weekend.

Anybody been in the same predicament as me?

It seems they are needing to move some product off the lots i just got a private offer from Ram for 4k to use towards a new truck. Think i will wait and see what they offer in the MY26 maybe bring Hemi back even better.

$4k private offer? That’s awesome! I got $1k a week or so ago, maybe need to try again. My new truck is built and on the train headed to MD now so I could sure use it.

Just my 2 cents.
How has the truck been with regards to reliability.
Been reading various truck threads and all brands have a variety of issues.
If the truck has been reliable, it could be frustrating to get rid of it for a new vehicle which ends up with numerous problems.

I have been monitoring the board for a while and doing a lot of shopping.
The main reason for now jumping the gun is not only prices still high (yes, MD has given a decent quote but still more than I want to dish out) but my current truck has been the most reliable vehicle I have owned.
Would hate to give it up for a new vehicle which is problematic.

It all depends on ones philosophy
Others get new vehicles every few years and figure if its problematic then no big deal as they will be getting rid of it a few years later.

That’s incredible. Can you share what the restrictions on that are, if any? Any idea how you came into that offer? Was it an email or mailer?
