I picked up a 2026 Ram1500 BigHorn on 3/23/26. I went with the RAM do to it's smooth ride and I wanted to be able to tow our camper better than my Nissan. It did get the recall done just before I picked it up. When I hitched up our camper I found out that the Trailer Light Check function does not work. I had it into the dealer 3 times and still not working. They have received tech support from Stellantis 2 times at this point.
Are others seeing this or other brake controller issues after the recall fix?

I had the recall done last week. No towing yet.
But at random, I am getting messages such as "trailer lamp function problem, trailer has been added to the blind spot monitoring."

The messages display for only a few seconds.

It seems that’s a common quirk after getting the recall done. It could be the software they flash on the new module. It so random that if you take it to the dealer and does not duplicate on the cluster. They will not do anything or simple diagnostics that does not fix the issue.
