Hurricane, because it’s got better emissions vs. power output.
Ahhh... I'll update the one category... thanks for the feedback!Forgot THE reason Hurricane over Hemi. Better towing
Didn't towing and payload capacity go down with the 2025 models?Forgot THE reason Hurricane over Hemi. Better towing
Not more, but better towing.Didn't towing and payload capacity go down with the 2025 models?

Appreciate the unsolicited advice. Lets just say we agree to disagree on that. I might agree when you get near the max rating, but 4000 - 5000 lbs is light even for a 1500.A little. A 2024 with 5.7 is listed with max towing of 12,750 and 2,300 max cargo capacity. The standard Hurricane is listed at 11,570 max towing and 1,980 cargo cargo. The high output is rated lower than the standard Hurricane.
Even so, if towing more than a 4000 - 5000 lb load a 1500 pickup is not the best choice anyway regardless of engine.

To be honest, I can't think of a scenario where a 2500 isn't always a better choice for towing regularly. Overkill for anything well within the range of a half-ton but probably a better choice regardless. But that wasn't what you said in your initial statement. It's amazing how one word ("routinely") can change the context of a statement.I never said a 1500 couldn't pull a load over 5000 lbs, but if you are routinely pulling a load more than that a 2500 is a better choice regardless of your agreement.
I would be interested in the Hurricane if they can make sound good, so far it sounds like poo.
No one has chosen the "Hemi because it's a more robust engine" yet?
I chose "Hemi because it sounds better", that was the only thing I checked off that I was truly sure about.
