Hi... just got a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited and am wondering if there is a way to put a phone call into privacy mode while driving. For example, I receive a phone call while driving and determine I'd rather the other passengers not hear the call on speaker phone through the truck. In our previous truck (Ford F150), there was a privacy button to touch on the screen; thus taking the call off speaker and enabling using the phone as usual. I don't see a similar option on the Ram. Hopefully someone has found this option!

Do you have a “transfer” button? I think that works for what you need.

When on a call, push button to select the phone screen. Then push the dial pad button and there will be a transfer button that will transfer the call to your phone.IMG_20181025_220414824.jpg

On iphones, you can tap the screen during a call and there is a "speaker" option. If you click that, you can choose uconnect, speaker phone, or normal and it will let you take the call normally, but the radio will reengage when you take it off bluetooth.

A quick way to accomplish your need for privacy is just un-click your Bluetooth connection on your phone.
