Phone as a key

Since I have owned this truck, the proximity wake up feature has never worked, even with it turned on on the screen.
After receiving the OTA update and getting the phone as a key feature, the proximity wake up has been working. I'm starting to think the wake up feature is only tied to the key and that is why it is working now. I have had the key feature for about a month now.
Sorry, didn't mean to tease anyone with this but just to let you know in case you were wondering why your proximity wake up isn't working. I could be wrong.

Thread 'Digital Key setup 2025 Laramie'

Doss anyone have any info on how to setup the digital key on a 2025 Laramie? I took delivery today and the dealership gave me the backup key card but had no idea how to pair the digital key. The screen says to open the Ram app and select the digital key “tile” but that doesn’t exist in my app. I can’t find a YouTube video or any info on the web at all on the subject
