Need HELP. Got a Phoenix radio unit for my 2024 RAM 2500 Bighorn . Looks great- thanks belt thing is having ISSUES. Distorted/Static music when turned up. Rear speakers put out hardly any sound, and after contacting them over the last month about so many of these issues- they have had me do all kinds of stuff like download firmware to usb and the. To the Phoenix/ this fixed NOTHING. Then they said to do a factory reset/ this fixed NOTHING and made the two USB ports they provide only work to charge my cell phone but no longer recognizes my cell phone when connected to their unit with their CarLink 2.0. I’ve read ALL THE Reviews— just wondering if anyone has some ideas to fix: 1) No DISTORTION/ STATIC when turned up, 2) getting the rear speakers to correctly work( has to be an amp issue- I have factory system/ no OEM Ram Stereo amp system like my Laramie had) and 3) getting the usb ports to work like they did before they had me do a factory reset-

On the volume, you need to go into vehicle settings and set the factory volume to something like 20 or higher depending on your preference. I think mine is 25. Then you can use the standard volume. What is happening is the internal volume is over loading the factory input.

On the rear speakers, open the EQ app and make sure things are set correctly. Also, make sure the fade is set right in vehicle settings. In vehicle settings, you can set the factory systems sound settings which are different than what is in the head unit's settings.

On the USB, you might need to make sure you have it plugged in correctly. There are 2 ports on the head unit. One is for charge only and the other is full charge and data. I have my USB ports in the charge only and the separate cable they provided coming down under the head unit for my phone. This way, when someone plugs in their phone to charge, it doesn't cause the system to hook up to it.

Those are literally the exact things Phoenix advised me to do ref the Volume/ WINT stop the Distortion/Static, and the checking of Fader info ref the rear speakers not putting out sound correctly- and the USB issue is they are defiled up correctly. They worked for 20 days until the factory. Reset. I appreciate your help but I truly believe the way it’s hooked up is jacked. They to this day have not sent me ANYTHING regarding hooking up the connections for a 2024 RAM. The only video on YouTube they have out is 2019-2022, and that video talks about the harness they provide you hook up a big black plug if 2019-2021, and if it a a 2022 then not use the big black plug by use a blue and green plug. They even sent me a JPEG printout of hooking up their system which even on the pic shows 2019. And they send a cable that no video or instruction shows anything about but clearly plugs into their system and actually if this plug is NOT plugged in- there is literally NO SOUND from any speaker. They have had techs look at the connections via phone tech appt, and didn’t know how to fix. I’m certain the USB issue is it’s been wiped since the factory reset- my phone recognizes the CARLINK is of the Phoenix but they won’t actually LINK like they’re supposed to- I’ve even done the FORGET THIS CAR choice on my phone/Settings/ etc. The USB settings in the Phoenix I located and says it’s CONNECTED with CARLINK, other options are NONE and EASYCONNECTION. I’ve tried all, done a reboot- still no connection on the Phoenix CarLink 2.0- . Frustrating- because as of day ago, I could at least use apps from my iPhone connected via USB but not now. I’m aware one of the USBs is charge and Data, and one is just charge. Right now, only one charges. The other which was Data and charge does NOTHING- appreciate the help- but they won’t fix the issues I’m having-
