My truck has been built and shipped as of 2 weeks ago. I have been trying to get the payload capacity by entering vin number on their website towing capacity search bar, but it doesn't recognize the vin. Am I doing something wrong?

Since it's shipped, I would think the VIN would be coming up in the Ram site. Hmmm...

What configuration did you get? I've had a '20 Bighorn CC 5'7" box 4x4 diesel and a '22 Laramie CC 5'7" box 4x4 gas and both of them have nearly identical payload on the sticker, just shy of 1,650 lbs. So I think unless you got a stripper Tradesman or a fully loaded Limited you'll likely be in that same 1,650 range.

Can you post up your VIN?

My truck shipped yesterday and I was able to pull the payload numbers.

As @Eighty said, post your VIN to see if anybody else can pull it.

Yes, that should work for you (it does for me). You sure you put in the VIN correctly?

Yeah I've entered it multiple times, dealer said truck will be here within 2 weeks so I'll find out soon enough. At least I know I'm entering it in right place. Thanks for the replies
I might try the ram chat

Just in case.... they don't use the letters I or O. Be sure you're entering 1 or 0 if you have any

looks like mine is 1400....you start adding up passenger weight, that payload number drops really quick for a trailer.

That was it. They stuck a 0 in the middle of the letter group
