PARK SENSE/SERVICE SHIFTER CODES

I just started having the service parking sensors / front sensors unavailable message last week, every time I start and shift to forward. Glad I stumbled upon this thread. For S&Gs I pulled out the star connector and removed all the connectors and reseated them but it did not solve the issue. Was thinking maybe it was a bad connection and to try that before buying a part, but I can tell you that is not the issue. Looks like it is an issue in the star module itself. Ill order one and report back after I swap it. Are you guys using mopar parts or 3rd party. I see aftermarkets for around $50. Edit*81k miles for reference.

Well the new star connector showed up but my front sensor issue seems to have cleared itself up after a deep clean / front scrub. Apparently there were a lot of dead bugs on there from a 500mi roadtrip. So my issue is resolved for now but im keeping the star connector on hand as it is apparently a known weak point in the canbus system.

I changed the star connector over the weekend. I can confirm it did solve my Parksense temporarily unavailable issue I’ve had for over a year now.
