I just installed in my truck 2days ago. I have a 2021 though, so no dash lights just doors and floors. Its a nice touch but 159 plus shipping and taxes I paid like $175.00. 19 and 20's are 199 plus shipping and taxes. I don't think it was worth that much TBH.. Its a nice touch that not many people will have... but just a bit pricey but I already paid it haha. Seems to be the ONLY option out there. Install is not bad if you are comfortable taking off the door panels, which are harder to remove than 4thgen rams. took about 2hrs... 1.5 to remove everything and was able to put everything back in 30mins.
I concurr that the Retail Price should be around $70-75 for what you get.Yea of course, send me a PM. $200 is ridiculous but i paid it lol. Its the only thing out there on the market right now. I think it is maybe a $75-$100 product at most and thats still high for a few LEDs
thanks "Duran".i went to there "FB"site.and said nothing right yet for the "Rebel"I believe so in the door and above the glove compartment its one led that shines through a tube that stretches across
Ohhh wow. Looks goodthanks "Duran".i went to there "FB"site.and said nothing right yet for the "Rebel". as always.so i had to take the"PoorMan "route and do it this way.
Pricing is ridiculous. I got on the waiting list back in May and the price was 299. Sent me an email that they were in stock and the price was now 399. I passed and bought an S&B CAI instead. I have a friend looking at putting new LED in one that I took out from under the seat. It would be a lot cheaper to solder in a new bulb.I bit the bullet and got the blue for my 19' Limited - I had seen the youtube video with the lights, and coming from a Cadillac XT5, the ambient blue lighting was one thing I was missing, especially since the ambient lighting in the RAM was pretty dim, even on full brightness.
I'm excited to get them, not so much install them - but we'll see how it goes.
One of the things that I really like is that he told me the footwell lights have a dual LED, so when you open the door or turn on the cabin lights, they shine bright white and when you close it, it becomes the ambient blue...so no loss of vision when trying to find something on the floor, which is great...
The pricing hurts....20 bucks a bulb reminds me of when LEDs first came out back in the day, but as others have said, it's the only thing available unless you want to go with the cheaper aftermarket stick and wire kits...
