Bro I’m from Southern California too when I was shoppin for my truck I told all dealerships I won’t pay for this because I’m gonna air down when I off road, paint protection you gonna scratch it when you off road, and the rest simply don’t need it. If they don’t remove them for these simple reason tell them they are idiots and ask for th general manager he’ll push the sale throughLooking around for a slightly used rebel..... came across this one in Van Nuys, Ca. Really didnt know how expensive nitrogen was.... its only like 70% of earth's atmosphere. Better braking???? what.??????
Doubt I would ever consider doing business with someplace like this.

My understanding is the doc fee is limited in NY to $75.00, was the fee listed with other things? I purchased my Ram In NJ and the 2 fees that were charged totaled $498.00. Purchased my wife's Civic in NY over 3 years ago and don't have ready access to sales receipt but I believe it was $75.00.These extras are certainly outrageous. If I saw this on a lot I would walk away. The biggest issue for me is a Doc Fee! The cost to fill out the paperwork and file a title ($35.00 in Maine) and just added profit. They charge $399 and up to $699 depending on the dealer. I had a Chevy dealer in NY where we shopped that was actually $1299 for the doc fee and no indication until after you agreed to buy the truck. That is robbery. In the 90's and 2000's you used to be able to negotiate this or eliminate it, and it was maybe $89-129. Lately, I have had no luck and they will not budge, even if you walk. Especially on ultra low internet sales. My total buy process was 15 minutes, arrive, all paperwork, Loan, deny all extra warranties, fabric protection, wheel protection, etc and sign. There is only one dealer that advertises no Doc Fee in Maine but their prices are typically higher. In Maine the doc fee is taxable as well as all rebates, extended warranties and "dealer prep" which certainly stinks. On top of that 2.4% of MSRP for excise tax (which I have to pay with the Tax tomorrow, ugh Ramen for the family over the next month).
Ohh yes, Russell Westbrook. We did purchase my partner's Jeep Grand Cherokee there. This first words out of my mouth were "the dealer add-ons will be taken out of the deal, or we have no deal and we'll leave right now." They took them out without much fuss.
