I have no issue with the 305HP of a Pentastar Ram 1500 ! The Pentastar performs admirably, and I believe is hands-down the best naturally aspirated V6 in any truck.

I am simply stating V6 current market value differences versus a V8.

Yes I know...I may have to get the V8 in Rebel as I can't get Ramboxes with V6. I want to drive a Etorque V8 first to see if I like it or not or just stick with normal V8. My Outdoorsman V6 severed its purpose and got me into a Ram and I will be getting other one. Just waiting on them to finalize the packages. I built a Bighorn on the US site, just waiting to see if Canadian site has the Sport Appearance Package as that adds the body color bumpers and I am digging that in Delmonico Red. Don't like the chrome bumpers, thats why I went Outdoorsman in 2 tone.

crew cab 6'4" 4x4 3.6 is 1740, 5.7 is 1830. It's only in the 4x2 where the 3.6 has an advantage
Those sneaky buggers, I stand corrected, they raise the gvwr when you get into a hemi 4x4. 7100 gvwr....that is almost what the light 3/4 tons were in 94 to 98? 7500.

Didn't notice that before. But the 4x2 v6 maxes out payload list with 2000lbs.

That is pretty amazing for a v6 1500

Well that is even better. Apparently the front axel gives more capacity than it takes away...also a good thing

90 pounds just ain't a whole lot of beans to market . . . I'll be going back to the V6 . . . should be nicely improved over my current G.C. V6 w/8-spd. (2016).
