Had a fun jaunt near Seaside OR on the beach recently. Other than ~50yds at the access/exit, the sand was compacted and didn't seem to need any tire deflation. Didn't have any issues with softer sand at entry/exit (Ridge Grapplers).

Do y'all spend extra care to rinse the undercarriage afterwards to remove salt?

alright, somethin's fishy here. How did you get that truck out on the beach without a speck of sand on your treads? Please don't tell me that you washed/waxed your truck on the beach, just for the photo shoot!

If you do a lot of off-roading, a good set of all terrain tires don’t hurt. Plenty to choose from (my favs are ko2, toyo at3, falcon wild peaks, general grabbers to name some already mentions)

I know it obvious for most of us, but for first timers, stock tires might not do so well. I know when I first got my truck, I thought I could go anywhere stock..and that’s far from the truth..lol

Dry sand won't stick to the tires unless you have tire shine applied

Dry sand also won't stick to the tires if you've photoshopped it onto the beach. :ROFLMAO:

Hey fellow Ram owners! First time drive-on beach goer this week. Was really curious about it and saw this thread. With the factory Wrangler Duratrec tires on a '19 Rebel, would you recommend taking the PSI from 55 to 20, all around? And using 4-HI? Hitting Corolla this week. Just didn't want to take the tires too low and have any issues. Thanks for the info!

Hit the beach in Corolla yesterday morning. Lowered the PSI to 20 all around and the truck did great. We ventured over the dunes to spot the wild horses, nice not having to pay crazy prices for a horse tour!

Damn...I must be seriously driving wrong when I offroad with my 2020 ram (I traded it in, for my future 2022 order).

I like to go offroading in wharton state park here in jersey There is lots of sand...this is what it looks like for me...
